My Therapist Self
I am a trauma‑informed Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist with over 5 years of experience, working through an evidence‑based and psychodynamic lens. My practice is Integrative in nature, so the work is collaborative - goals and pace are set together, in ways that feel safe and meaningful.
Although formally trained with an M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology, I understand people through a psycho‑social perspective rather than as diagnoses. Individuals have layers - like an onion. Many come seeking relief in the outer layers; some already sense that deeper layer's hold pain, trauma, and unprocessed feelings. In therapy, we unfold these layers thoughtfully, build awareness, and learn ways to respond to long‑standing triggers with steadiness and care.
Therapy is also personal for me. Having been in therapy for over five years, what began as self‑exploration has become a grounding practice that helped integrate parts of myself and navigate a rollercoaster of growth. That lived experience deepens the respect, patience, and compassion I bring to the therapeutic space.
I gently help clients reconnect with their inner child - the vulnerable and often unheard parts of themselves that carry old wounds or forgotten joys. I also integrate somatic work, tuning into the body to notice where emotions and trauma might be held, and supporting release, regulation, and resilience. Think of it this way: you are the driver, I’m in the passenger seat, and we move forward together unblocking what’s stuck, seeing the unseen, and hearing the unheard.
